HAVE has expanded our 8-week culinary training program to offer an additional full-time accredited 28-week culinary training program for students to receive their Professional Cook 1 certification recognized by the Industry Training Authority (ITA). This program includes classroom lessons and testing beyond our regular 8-week program. It is the first level towards earning the Red Seal certification.
At a post secondary institution, the program can cost over $3,300 per student. At HAVE, we offer the program at no cost to our students. For more information, please contact us or visit the ITA website.
For students who wish to further their culinary training, we provide ongoing support by helping to access funding for post secondary schools or find placements with employers that offer in-house apprenticeship programs. Please contact us for more information.
